A lot has happened since Jim's ‘Hercules’ days. Today (some 30+ years
later) he is still as strong. He has gone from flexing his muscles to being
flexible with various media and styles. Jim received his BFA in
Illustration from Carnegie
Mellon University in 1982. He gained valuable illustration experience at
Eucalyptus Tree Studios in Baltimore, from 1984-1988 and has been
self-employed ever since. Today, Jim primarily illustrates electronically,
but also continues to work in traditional techniques. “My goal in every
assignment is to work closely with the designer/art director to come up with
a conceptually strong and well-designed illustration.” Jim lives and works
near Baltimore and Washington D.C., in the Mason-Dixon border town of
Stewartstown, PA, USA.
